Calendar of Events

The next SkillFest returns on April 23rd, 2019. The second in our continuing series of networking events to join professional recruiters who know the Jacksonville market with chapter members looking to grow their career opportunities.

Hosted by PMI Northeast Florida at Dave and Busters, an ideal central Jacksonville location right next to I95, SkillFest will comprise an in-formal “speed-dating” format. Recruiters will be located on their own tables, Chapter members will be free to network throughout the evening with them and each other.

The cost will include a light buffet and non-alcoholic drinks. You are also welcome to enjoy the cash-bar and games, even have a fun evening with the family.

Membership: Cost to Chapter Non-Members who do hold membership of the PMI will include one FREE year of PMI Northeast Florida Chapter Membership for the first 15 Non-Members to register. Upon registration, please contact Eddie Sumner at vpmarketing@pmi-nefl.org for a Chapter Guest Pass code for 1 free year of NEFL Chapter Membership. You must be a member of the PMI to be eligible.

Headshots: Formal attire is not required, however as part of your registration fee you do have the opportunity to sit for a professional portrait (~5-10 mins). We welcome Pablo Rivera who can also add cosmetic touch-ups to get rid of dark circles, blemishes, or other skin imperfections. Within 1 week after the event, one set of photos per sitting wll be provided in two resolutions:  one appropriate for print (higher resolution) and one for internet upload (lower resolution). Sign-up spots are first come, first serve and a link to sign-up will be available on your registration confirmation. 

Resume: Once you have registered, please send your resume to Eddie Sumner at vpmarketing@pmi-nefl.org by Friday April 19 to be forwarded to the recruiters in advance. If you would like advice on any changes that will add to the polished look, please bring a printed copy. Steven Keller from Integrated Retirement Architects will be on-hand to provide professional guidance on format and content.

Please note: ALL active members of the Military (including Veterans and their Spouses) are eligible for a year of free membership to the NEFL Chapter. Please email for details, there is no limit to the number of applicants for this.
