About the Speaker
Over the past 25+ years John Luker has provided project management across a broad range of industries including transportation, healthcare, information system security, education and government. John graduated Magna Cum Laude from both the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a BSBA in MIS and from Virginia College with a MS in Cybersecurity. Joining PMI in 2006, he completed his PMP certification in 2008. He is also a life member of the Administrative Science honor society Beta Gamma Sigma.In a previous life he was a Field Paramedic with certification in wilderness medicine who volunteered with cave rescue and mountain rescue units. He also served as Director of Operations for an urban/wilderness search dog organization. Mr. Luker enjoys creating chainmaille jewelry. He also performs admirable duty as a gear sherpa for his nature photographer wife Donna.
