Tuesday, September 13th: Microsoft Project - Basic
Instructor: Patrick Arnwine
Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm
This is the Basic workshop, which has lecture and lab components. The basic workshop provides introductory information and practice that establishes the basis for the follow-on workshops of Intermediate and Advanced. Topics in the Basic workshop include common concepts and terms used in PM. The workshop will discuss a brief history of PM and explore its basic components. The participants will also review the relevance and importance of PM. Finally, workshop members will partake in a brief hands-on exercise in a lab environment.
Wednesday, September 14th: Microsoft Project - Intermediate
Instructor: Ashok Padhi
Time: 6:30pm - 9:30 pm
The objective of this course is to provide the students ability and experience in creating a baseline project plan, editing it and tracking the project progress. The students can create various reports using MS project. The students will be able to perform the following functions using MS Project:
- Explore intermediate functions of MS Project as they relate to Project Management
- Be introduced to an extended discussion on Project Management
- Become familiar with the intermediate components of a project
- Practice using the intermediate functions of Project Management
Thursday, September 15th: Microsoft Project - Advanced
Instructor: Ken Perry
Time: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
After completing the advanced course the students will have exposure, lecture and experience using MS Project 2013. In this course, you will know how to:
- Manage costs
- Work with multiple projects
- Import data
- Track progress
- Create custom reports
- Customize views.
Earn: 3 PDUs each
Cost - PMI NEFL Members: $49 for each session or $99 for all 3 sessions
Non PMI NEFL Members: $69 for each session or $129 for all 3 sessions
Each session is limited to 20 people
