A few years ago, I was trying to find a way to track projects more efficiently. I wanted to be able to give stakeholders and sponsors real-time updates. But, I wanted to be able to do it in a way where I didn’t have to spend endless hours updating tasks. I reached out to other project managers to get some ideas. They were all great, there was an access database, a software tool, an excel spreadsheet, and of course Microsoft Project. However, none of those tools worked for me! Maybe you’re in the same dilemma, or maybe you have mastered this with “your favorite tool.” Let’s get together to discuss the tools we use, the pros and cons and learn from each other.
