Project YOU 2026 is PMI Northeast Florida’s Professional Growth Summit. The experience brings together project professionals, emerging leaders, recruiters, employers, students, sponsors, and industry experts for professional development, career growth, and meaningful connection.
The in-person Summit will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 12:00–4:00 PM at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.
Registration and the Career Connection Experience open at 11:30 AM. The welcome and opening keynote begin at 12:00 PM.
Matt Quick of PMI Global is the opening keynote speaker for the October 15 in-person Summit. Additional keynote details and the final session title will be announced as they are confirmed.

The in-person Summit includes two breakout time blocks:
- 1:30 PM: Choose one of two sessions.
- 3:00 PM: Choose one of two sessions.
The breakout pairings are confirmed:
- 1:30–2:30 PM: Zanorfa Lynch in Room 1020 or Kimberly Young in Room 1010.
- 3:00–4:00 PM: Russ Parker in Room 1020 or Dan DeMott in Room 1010.
No. Breakout selection is not required during event registration. Registered attendees will have the option to pre-select one session in each breakout round before the Summit to help PMI Northeast Florida plan expected attendance.
Pre-selection does not reserve or guarantee a seat. Attendees may change their session choice on event day, and seating is first-come, first-served.

The Career Connection Experience is an open professional-development and networking area available from 11:30 AM–4:30 PM.
Attendees may connect with recruiters, employers, sponsors, industry representatives, and fellow professionals while also accessing professional headshots, résumé reviews supported by Apex Systems, the AI Zone with participation from NLP Logix, and other career-development and networking opportunities.
Professional headshots and résumé reviews will be available through advance reservations. Booking links, appointment availability, and event-day instructions will be provided to registered attendees before the Summit.
Résumé reviews will be supported by recruiting professionals from Apex Systems, a Project YOU Career Connection Partner.
No. There is no single way to experience Project YOU. You may attend both breakout time blocks, choose the sessions most relevant to your goals, step out for a scheduled career-service appointment, visit the AI Zone, or spend additional time participating in the Career Connection Experience.
The Project YOU Virtual Experience will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 12:00–4:00 PM on Microsoft Teams. The program includes a Career Growth Panel and Q&A, guided speed networking, professional development sessions, a Summit breakout speaker preview, Summit preparation, and attendee Q&A.

The October 14 Career Growth Panel will feature:
The moderated conversation will explore career growth, career transitions, transferable skills, adaptability, continuous learning, professional visibility, evolving project roles, and preparing for what comes next—including how AI and other workplace changes are shaping the future of work. Attendees will also have an opportunity to bring their own questions into the conversation.
Tanya Boyd, Director of Creative Collaboration at Project Success Academy & Corbeau Tech, will present GUMBO: The Flavor of Project Success.
Shaniqua Fields, Agile Delivery Specialist at RF-SMART, will present Authenticity vs. Survival: The Unspoken Reality for Women in Tech. The session centers the experiences of women in technology while offering broader insights for professionals, colleagues, and leaders across backgrounds.
Yes. Every in-person Summit registration includes complimentary access to the October 14 Project YOU Virtual Experience.
Yes. A Virtual Experience Only registration option is available for $25. Virtual-only registration includes access to the October 14 online program and does not include admission to the October 15 in-person Summit.
The Virtual Experience will be hosted through Microsoft Teams. Access instructions and event-day details will be provided to registered participants before October 14.

The student rate is available to currently enrolled college or university students. A valid student ID is required at Summit check-in.
Discount codes may be offered to select partners, volunteers, sponsored students, or other eligible groups. Eligibility requirements may vary by code.
Participants may earn up to 8 PMI PDUs by attending both the October 14 Virtual Experience and the October 15 in-person Summit. The number and category of PDUs earned will depend on the eligible sessions attended.
Attendees will self-report their Project YOU 2026 PDUs. Instructions, claim information, and applicable PDU categories will be provided to attendees.
