VP, Membership
While the focus on membership is that of the entire board, this elected or appointed volunteer is responsible for addressing the needs of chapter membership, including membership recruitment, retention, and associated value delivery in accordance with chapter policies and bylaws.
Candidates must be members in good standing with PMI NEFL Chapter.

VP, Education
Elected or appointed volunteer responsible for creating and managing professional development and education programs in accordance with chapter policies and bylaws. Responsible for the development of chapter education activities which include but are not limited to the preparation and maintenance of PMI’s certifications, as well as the development and sustainability of relationships with local colleges, universities and other external partners such as Authorized Training Partners (ATPs).

VP, Programs
Elected or appointed volunteer responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality chapter meetings to provide members with excellent networking opportunities and learning experiences from subject-matter experts and professional peers. Works closely with the president/CEO, marketing, finance and professional development/events to provide vision and oversight to smoothly execute all program initiatives, providing quality and relevant educational programming to members.

Director, Education
The Director of Education is a leadership volunteer role supporting the Vice President of Education in planning, coordinating, and delivering educational programs that meet the professional development needs of PMI‑NEFL chapter members. This role helps ensure that chapter educational offerings align with PMI standards, chapter goals, and member interests.
The Director of Education may lead and collaborate with education volunteers, instructors, speakers, and other chapter leaders to support the successful execution of educational initiatives.

Director, Programs
Director, Programs is a volunteer role responsible for supporting the Vice President of Programs in delivering high‑quality chapter meetings and professional development offerings. This role plays a critical part in ensuring PMI‑NEFL members receive exceptional networking opportunities and engaging learning experiences from subject‑matter experts and peer professionals.
Working closely with the VP of Programs, President, and cross‑functional chapter leaders (Events, Marketing, Finance, Professional Development, and Technology), the Director of Programs helps provide strategic vision, operational oversight, and execution support for all chapter program initiatives. The role ensures programs align with member needs, chapter strategy, and PMI standards while supporting the long‑term sustainability of the chapter.

Director, Communications
The Director of Communications serves as a key leadership volunteer supporting the Vice President of Communications in the strategic planning, management, and coordination of all chapter communication activities. This role is responsible for helping ensure that chapter messaging across all communication channels is consistent, professional, and aligned with PMI‑NEFL chapter policies, bylaws, and PMI brand standards.
The Director of Communications may lead, coordinate, and collaborate with communications volunteers to support the execution of the chapter’s communications strategy and plans.
