About Me:
Program and Agile delivery leader with 20+ years of experience across insurance and technology, specializing in enterprise transformation and large-scale initiatives. PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe SPC, and SAFe RTE certified. Active PMI Northeast Florida board member, previously serving as VP of Programs and in multiple director roles.                               Where I Work / What I Do:
Owner of Let’s Flamingle Events LLC, a Jacksonville-based mobile bartending and event services company, launched after retiring from my corporate career. I launched the business to combine my passion for hospitality with my expertise in planning and execution.

Michelle joined the PMI NEFL chapter in 2016, and served as Membership VP for three years and was recently voted into her current role, President-Elect. She is a Program Manager at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield where she celebrated 30 years of employment in 2026. She has worked in the project management field for more than 15 years with a primary focus in operations. Michelle obtained her PMP Certification in 2018.

She volunteers at her church, Chet's Creek, teaching fourth grade. As well as serves on the Board of Directors for the Marshall University Alumni Chapter in NE FL. 

She enjoys the beach, watching Hallmark movies and walking her dog Simba!

Where I work: My career has been in manufacturing and rail transportation, the last 38 years with CSX Transportation and its predecessors until retirement in 2015. My headquarters were in Baltimore, Jacksonville, and Chicago. Assignments included creating Lean training and coaching project managers; project management training; train accident prevention training and investigation; improving train velocity with New Orleans railroads; and process improvement projects with a Tampa customer, Savannah Signal Shop, Richmond Roadway Equipment shop, and contract employee hiring.

About Me: My wife and I enjoy world-wide travel, and follow the Jaguars in Jacksonville and London. I volunteered for church boards in 3 cities and serve on the PMI chapter board. Hobbies include photography, golf, and physical fitness.

Credentials: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and MBA from University of Minnesota. PMP in 2009. Certified as a Professional Engineer, Six Sigma Master Belt, and Lean Leader.

After a rewarding 35-year career as a Physical Therapist—serving in clinical practice, research, and program development—I transitioned into accounting to continue my passion for helping others in a new way. I now own a bookkeeping business that supports small construction companies, contractors, and a variety of other businesses. As a Certified Bookkeeping Professional, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and Project Management Professional, I bring a unique blend of healthcare discipline, organizational leadership, and financial expertise to every client relationship.

Accustomed to working independently, I am committed to meeting deadlines, solving problems proactively, and delivering results that exceed expectations. Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering with my home church and national ministries, unwinding with a good crime movie, and creating handwoven baskets.

I also enjoy giving back to the project management profession through service as Vice President of Finance for PMI NEFL, where I contribute my skills to strengthen the organization and support its members.

About Me: I have been in project management for over 40 years.  I began my career in the Defense and Space Industry, then moved into Logistics and Transportation.  Some interesting projects that I have worked on:  F15 and F16 aircraft test equipment, new semiconductor generations, the international space station, bringing of assets back from Iraq for the USMC, and new IT project implementations for financial, HR and operational customers.

I have been actively engaged with the local chapter since 2008.  I have held the following positions:  Treasurer, President, Past President, Director of Education and for a second term set President and Past President.  PMP certifications have been my passion.  Once receiving my PMP with a chapter study group, I have helped over 150 students' study and receive there PMPs.

Where I work/ What I do:  I recently retired from a Portfolio Management position with Yusen Logistics.  I am an adjunct professor with UNF where I teach PMP and CAPM classes.

Certifications: PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, Six Sigma Black Belt.

I am a Project Manager specializing in disaster recovery, long-term recovery programs, and grants management. I bring extensive experience supporting state and federally funded programs, with a strong focus on operational execution, stakeholder coordination, and delivering results in complex, high-pressure environments.

In 2026, I began serving as Vice President of Membership, where I focus on strengthening member engagement, increasing retention, and creating meaningful opportunities for connection and professional growth. I am passionate about building a collaborative community where members feel supported, challenged, and inspired.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, exploring antique shops, and being outdoors.

Jimmy Halleran is an operations, project, and people leader with 25+ years of experience turning complex work into clear strategy and execution. A retired U.S. Navy Command Master Chief, he has led large-scale teams across military, technology, healthcare, and crisis-response environments. His background includes leading 200+ project managers and 1,500 professionals while supporting major federal programs valued at more than $450M.

Jimmy holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and multiple professional certifications, including PMP, LSSBB, CSM, CSPO, and CBCP. His experience combines disciplined project execution, process improvement, agile leadership, business continuity, and organizational growth.

Today, Jimmy serves as Chief Operating Officer and partner for House of Discernment, where he leads startup operations, KPI systems, and strategic growth. He also serves as VP of Military Outreach for the PMI Northeast Florida Chapter, helping veterans, transitioning service members, and spouses connect military experience to project management careers.

Jimmy is focused on mission-driven work, improving outcomes for Veterans, and building systems that help teams perform at a higher level.

Mary Kay has ~35 years of global experience in Program Management, IT, and HR Technology. She has successfully guided multi million-dollar technology portfolios and delivered complex IT, HR, and organizational change initiatives for organizations such as Oracle, Citibank, Eaton Corporation, and Convergys Corporation. Known for her ability to bridge stategic vision with operational excellence, she has led major HR technology implementations, mergers and acquisitions, and process improvement initiatives that have strengthened workforce performance and business outcomes.

She holds a BA in English/Technical Writing from Miami University (Oxford, OH).  She has served as the VP of Programs since July 2025

About Me:
I enjoy collaborating with the Board and members to solve challenges, enhance digital tools, and create seamless online experiences. I value open communication and enjoy bringing people together to create practical, user-friendly solutions that support the chapter’s goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy surfing, cycling, yoga, camping, art, traveling, and cooking, and I love spending time with my wife and our two dogs. I also enjoy experimenting with AI and continuously learning about emerging technologies to bring new ideas into my work.

Where I Work / What I Do:
I work at Etchasoft/Expeed Software as a Business Analyst, specializing in web development for associations. I design and deliver websites, CRM systems, and user-friendly UI/UX solutions, while leading change management initiatives and providing ongoing support to ensure customer success. I work closely with clients, programmers, and designers to deliver tailored solutions from wireframes through final implementation.

About Me:

I am an operations-minded project leader who likes making work clearer, smoother, and more human. I help teams deliver real results through structure, follow-through, and service-first leadership. Outside of work, I coach my son's recreation soccer team and play in an adult league as often as I can. My wife and I have two kids and two dogs that we like to try and involve in any of our outdoor excursions. And we're always down for a movie/game night.

Where I Work / What I Do:

I am currently the Office Manager for the Nassau County Economic Development Board, where we support programs and partnerships that strengthen local business growth. Day to day, I coordinate stakeholders across a wide range of industries and organizations, manage documentation and reporting, support events and sponsorships, and keep projects moving with clean communication and reliable execution. My background includes senior leadership roles in hospitality and events, and I hold a M.S. in Supply Chain Management, CAPM, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Constance Koonce is a finance and administrative professional with a strong commitment to service and organizational stewardship. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology and an MBA and is credentialed as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Over the course of her 33-year career, she has supported financial recordkeeping, reporting, budgeting processes, and compliance functions, helping organizations operate efficiently and responsibly. Constance is driven by the belief that sound financial management and structured project execution are essential to mission success, particularly within community-focused and nonprofit environments.

Family is central to her life. Constance and her husband, whom she met through the American Legion Veteran Organization, are the proud parents of four adult children who continue to be her greatest source of motivation and joy. Constance remains active within the American Legion, where she volunteers and serves as Auxiliary Vice President, supporting programs that honor veterans, engage youth, and strengthen community connections. She brings a thoughtful, reliable, and mission-centered approach to every role she assumes.

About Me:

When I am not at work, I enjoy traveling, getting outside at the beach or on a hike, doing activities with my dog, or getting a good workout in. I have enjoyed the opportunity to live a few different places across the US and happy to call Jacksonville home for the nice weather and proximity to the beach. 

Where I work / What I Do:

I am an enterprise and systems architect at Lockheed Martin focused on transforming complex engineering groups through digital engineering, enterprise architecture, and data-driven technologies. My work focuses on bridging strategy and execution, translating enterprise goals into architectures that enable scalable platforms, integrated systems, and measurable business outcomes.

I am particularly interested in how emerging technologies such as AI, digital engineering practices, and modern data platforms can be integrated into existing enterprise ecosystems.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and watching soccer. I love traveling, doing puzzles and listening to podcasts.

What I Do:

I work as a Construction Project Manager at Wilson Girgenti P.A. I coordinate MEP Design for various TI, Healthcare and Multifamily projects. I act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and architects, resolve issues, monitor progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope and budget.
