Eric Lucas will present methods for identifying and finding good Project Manager candidates and will provide tips on how to interview for a Project Manager position from both the hiring manager and the candidate’s perspective. During the second half of the meeting, we will have an open forum with local recruiters answering questions on the local market, sourcing candidates, and getting a Project Manager position. Great advice for candidates and for hiring managers!

About the Speaker

Eric Lucas has been in the field of Project Management since 1989. He has a Master’s Degree in Project Management, also degrees in Information Systems and Computer Technology, His specialty is managing geographically diverse project teams and short cycle project management methodologies. Eric is a GE ISMP Graduate and has taught Project Management at GE and other corporations. In addition to managing projects in Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Engineering, and IT, he has also developed project management methodologies for clients. Mr. Lucas has managed the implementation of manufacturing equipment, infrastructure installation, off the shelf software implementation (esp. ERPs), business process improvement, and many other types of projects, and has conducted a number of project rescues, especially in Marketing and IT. Eric currently manages the PMO for Crowley Maritime Corporation.
