We look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to connect. Learning together is growing together, and those people will be the best connections you can make!

  • Books Selection:
    • Brick by Brick by David C. Robertson with Bill Breen

  • Meetings:
    • Kickoff (Virtual - March 2nd)
    • Progress Check-In (Virtual - March 23rd)

What Does Joining Double-Booked Include?

The cost for participating in the book club does not include the cost for the book. You will be expected to cover those
costs yourself. Audiobooks, Ebooks and using your local library are always options as well. We are currently working
with local businesses to potentially offer discounts on physical books in the future.

Each session spans over 5-6 weeks and each session will have meetings you can join for PDUs, networking and
content discussions including:

  • In-Person Kickoff (Virtual OR Hybrid): During this session we will have a short meet and greet. You will be granted access to
our book club online platform. A short demo of the online platform will be conducted to walk you through navigation,
and resources and you will have the opportunity to ask questions, network and view the discussion questions.

  • Progress Check-Ins (Virtual): Short online meetings with a chapter representative to discuss progress and takeaways
from the book at that time.

  • Final Discussion (Virtual OR Hybrid): Our final discussion on the book where we will go through discussion questions and request
thoughts from attendees on takeaways from the content. Speakers may also be present at the meeting to share their
    insights on the topic.

Join now to be a part of this professional development journey together
We look forward to connecting with you!

Marney Ridout, CAPM, ACP

Project Manager

Marney is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) with a strong background in SaaS product implementation, effective change management working with multiple stakeholder roles and internal process improvement. Marney's strengths in individual, team and organizational development allow me and my team to cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships. The application of effective change management techniques allow us to leverage these relationships and ensure success throughout a variety of projects. Marney is an active community member and former military spouse that has called Jacksonville, FL home for little over four years now. After moving from Northern Colorado to Chicago, and Chicago to Florida, my family fell in love with the lush natural habitats (still working on the fear of alligators...) and the friendly community that Jacksonville offered. We chose to settle down here when transitioning out of the military and have made it a point to hike and photograph the beauty around us as often as possible. Marney Ridout, CAPM, ACP Regional Coordinator

Melissa Doyle, PMP

Melissa found my niche in managing those projects. So, in 2015, Melissa switched gears and changed my career path from Management to Project Management instead. Working my way up from Project Coordinator to an Intermediate Project Manager. Melissa obtained my PMP in 2017, and PMI-ACP in 2020. Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management. She loves working with people, motivating teams, and working on process improvement projects. Melissa manages multiple projects for our Quality Improvement team, create and track Strategic Plans and ensure projects are aligned to our strategic goals and initiatives.
