Valorie has over 20 years in the Financial Services industry to leading, organizing and motivating cross functional teams to achieve business objectives. Field of expertise includes Enterprise Program and Project Management, Vendor Management, Team Management and IT development. Strengths include outstanding oral and written communications with teams, vendors and business partners.

Valorie has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of North Florida and has achieved her Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Professional (PMP-ACP), and SAFe agile certifications including Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Release Train Engineer ( RTE), Professional Agile Leader ( PAL), Professional Scrum Master II (PSMII), Product Owner Product Manager (POPM) and ICP-BAF.

Vice President Programs 8/2020-Present

Responsible for chapter professional development strategy including:

• Monthly Professional Development Events-- Research, Plan and Select Professional Events for the year

• Networking Events-- Provide a forum for chapter members to network outside of professional development meetings, including events based on geography or industries

• Manage Directors of Speaker Relations and Networking Events

Director-Networking Events 6/2019-8/2020

• Developed a regional program to extend learning and networking events into the six regional areas supported by the chapter.

• Overseeing a team of six Regional Coordinators and event planning for educational and networking events throughout the North Florida Region in support of PMI organizational objectives.

Director of Social Media 4/2018-6/2019

• Developed strategy to drive member and community engagement through social media.

• Managed all social media for the chapter including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

• Utilized Hootsuite tool for creating and managing social media posts.
